Opinions of Autism This study investigates the public’s perceptions of families who have children with autism. Specifically we are interested in gathering the opinions, feeling and perceptions of parents and caretakers of children with autism spectrum disorders concerning how they believe other people in their communities perceive them and whether they are getting the support they need from their families and community. The study is being conducted by psychology students at Marietta College, and is under the direction of Professor of Psychology Dr. Mark Sibicky.
